Focus on Bihar polls and ‘vote theft’ issue
The CWC is expected to pass a few resolutions aimed at sharpening the Congress campaign ahead of the Bihar polls scheduled for November, as per PTI.
The meeting is centred on the electoral strategy and intensifying the party’s criticism of the BJP over alleged manipulation of voter rolls.

A strong message is likely to be issued on the EC’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls, PTI reported citing party sources.
The meeting follows Gandhi’s recent “Voter Adhikar Yatra” against “vote chori”, which energised the party’s cadre, and two press conferences where he accused Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of shielding those who “destroyed democracy”.
The EC has dismissed these allegations as “incorrect and baseless”.
