Goa’s former Chief Minister Ravi Naik passed away due to a cardiac arrest on Wednesday, Oct 15. He was 79.
He was declared dead at 1 am on Oct 15 at a private hospital in Ponda town, reported news agency PTI citing sources.
His last rites would take place around 3 pm.
His mortal remains were brought to his home in Khadpabanch in Ponda where thousands of people reportedly gathered to pay tributes to the politician.
