The Election Commission of India on Monday, October 27, announced the second phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls across 12 states and Union Territories.
Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, along with Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi, addressed a press conference to make the announcement.
CEC Gyanesh Kumar said the poll body will conduct SIR phase 2 across 12 states and UTs, as part of its ongoing electoral process.
