In his video message, Kumar thanked the people of Bihar for trusting him and allowing him to serve.
He noted that Bihar once had a poor reputation due to poverty, crime, and underdevelopment and being from the state was often seen as an insult. Since then, he said, his government has worked sincerely to improve Bihar with honesty.
“You have given me the opportunity to serve the people of Bihar continuously since 2005. When we took office, being called a Bihari was considered an insult. Since then, we have served you with complete honesty and hard work,” he said.

Nitish mentioned, “Be it Hindus, Muslims, upper castes, backward castes, extremely backward castes, Dalits, and Mahadalits, work has been done for everyone. I did nothing for my family. Now, being called a Bihari is not an insult, but an honour.”
He also credited the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for Bihar’s progress. “Only the NDA can bring about Bihar’s development,” he said.
Hailing the double-engine NDA governments at both the Centre and the state, he said, “With NDA governments at both the Centre and the state, the pace of development has accelerated significantly,” he added.
Voting for all 243 Assembly seats in Bihar will be held in two phases, on November 6 and November 11. The counting of votes will take place on November 14.
The ruling NDA, led by the BJP and JD(U), is directly competing against the opposition alliance Mahagathbandhan, led by the RJD. This time, Prashant Kishor-led Jan Suraaj Party is expected to give a tough competition to both NDA and Mahagathbandhan alliances in many constituencies.
