The Congress has nominated Abhishek Singhvi and Vem Narender Reddy from Telangana.
The party has named Phulo Devi Netam from Chhattisgarh, Karamvir Singh Boudh from Haryana, Anurag Sharma from Himachal Pradesh, and M Christopher Tilak from Tamil Nadu.
On March 4, the party declared its support for Nationalist Congress Party (SP) chief Sharad Pawar as the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) candidate for Rajya Sabha polls from Maharashtra.
March 5 is the last date for filing of nomination for the Rajya Sabha and the polling would be held on March 16. The result will be declared on the same day.
The Election Commission of India has announced elections to 37 Rajya Sabha seats across 10 states. Of these seats, 12 are currently held by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), while 25 are with opposition parties.
