PG Electroplast has lost nearly a week of AC production due to LPG shortages at its plants, Managing Director Vikas Gupta said. Three of the company’s four AC manufacturing units faced disruptions for several days, hitting output during March, a peak month that typically contributes 12–15% of annual sales. Gupta said the company is working with suppliers and exploring alternate gas options that could stabilise production within 7–10 days. Polymer prices have also jumped, adding to cost pressure. PG Electroplast shares were down over 7% today and have shed over 14% this week.
