
Marine services company SEAMEC Ltd, in a consortium with Supreme Hydro Private Ltd, has secured a contract worth about ₹410.74 crore from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) for operation and maintenance services of the ONGC-owned MSV Samudra Sevak, with the work to begin within 60 days.
ONGC issued the notification of award on March 13, 2026, for hiring operation and maintenance services for the vessel for the 2026–2028 period. The contract tenure is 738 days from the commencement date. The total value of the contract is around ₹410.74 crore inclusive of GST.
The award has been granted to a consortium comprising SEAMEC Ltd and Supreme Hydro Private Ltd for providing operation and maintenance services for the ONGC-owned multipurpose support vessel Samudra Sevak.

ONGC is the entity issuing the contract, and the order has been awarded by a domestic entity in the normal course of business. SEAMEC said the promoter, promoter group and group companies have no interest in ONGC. The company also said the contract does not fall under related party transactions.
Last year in December, SEAMEC announced that it had given a letter of award to Adsun Offshore Diving Contractors Pvt Ltd. The contract is for providing diving-related services on board the vessel Seamec III.
The scope of work includes the part replacement pipeline project, pipeline replacement project – group A (PRP-VIII A), and the DSF II project of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC).

The total value of the contract is approximately $3.25 million, exclusive of GST. The work includes jacket face riser survey, riser removal, installation of crossings, free span, bow string, and clamps. The contract is scheduled to be executed over the 2025-26 working season.
The order has been awarded to a domestic entity, and SEAMEC confirmed that neither the promoter nor the promoter group or group companies have any interest in Adsun Offshore.
Shares of SEAMEC Ltd ended at ₹1,331.90, down by ₹3.35, or 0.25%, on the BSE today, March 13.
