Most Indian women enter menopause in their mid-40s and frequently manage this transition without medical supervision, reliable information, or therapeutic assistance.
Now, a plant-based nutrition brand, Earthful, has launched the Menopause Cheerleaders Internship, a two-month paid community-building program. This first-of-its-kind national initiative is for women above 40 years old, especially mothers, who want to lead India’s conversation on menopause. The internship comes with a stipend of ₹1 lakh.
Earthful, founded in 2021, aims to help women navigate menopause through natural products. The company’s range of supplements is sourced from plant ingredients such as Amla, Moringa and Sunflower.
The internship is designed to empower women to become community leaders and catalysts for change.
The role of a Menopause Cheerleader is intentionally flexible, and interns can choose how to spread awareness about this, whether through social media, community gatherings, or WhatsApp groups. The goal is to build a community of women who feel informed, supported, and less alone during an often-overlooked stage.
The internship is open to five women who will work as Menopause Cheerleaders, spreading awareness and creating a community of supportive women. The internship begins on January 19 2026, and ends on March 20, 2026.
Co-Founder Veda Gogineni emphasises the need to break the silence surrounding menopause, stating, “When we started Earthful, one of the first things that struck me was how little support existed for women going through menopause.”
“Not because the information wasn’t available, but because the voices weren’t. This initiative is our way of putting the spotlight back on the women who have lived this experience. Their wisdom, their challenges, and their resilience hold the answers we’ve collectively ignored. We’re honoured to help bring those voices forward,” Gogineni added.
Earthful’s commitment to driving societal change is evident in its products, including a herbal multivitamin for menopausal women, which provides 13 vitamins, minerals, and herbs to help with hormonal balance.
The company’s capsule shell is made from plant sources like Pine bark, ensuring no artificial ingredients are used.
By recruiting women to lead this conversation, the company not only helps mothers returning to work after a career break but also allows those who have experienced menopause to break their silence.
