The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final result of the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (NDA & NA) (2), 2025 on April 8, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now download the UPSC NDA 2 final result from the official website, upsc.gov.in.According to the official notice, a total of 742 candidates have qualified for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the 156th course of National Defence Academy (NDA) and the 118th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). The selected candidates include 651 male candidates and 91 female candidates.

- Ishaan Singh
The final result has been prepared based on the written examination and Services Selection Board (SSB) interview.

Exam and selection details
The written examination was conducted on September 14, 2025. Candidates who cleared the written exam were later called for the SSB interview conducted by the Ministry of Defence. The final merit list has been prepared after considering both stages of selection.The Commission has clarified that medical examination results have not been considered while preparing the merit list.
Marks to be released later
UPSC has informed that the marks of candidates will be uploaded 15 days after the declaration of the final result. Candidates are advised to check the official website regularly for updates.
Candidature is provisional
The Commission has also said that the candidature of all selected candidates is provisional. Candidates must submit required documents such as:
- Date of birth certificate
- Educational qualification certificates
- Other relevant documents
These documents must be submitted directly to the Additional Directorate General of Recruiting, Adjutant General Branch, Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Army), West Block-III, Wing-I, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066.Candidates must also inform the authorities if there is any change in address.
