Additionally, runway upgradation at Delhi airport for three months impacted operations.
The upgraded runway reopened on September 16, 2025, and the upgraded Terminal 2 became operational on October 26, 2025.
Passenger traffic at Delhi airport has remained stable at around 7 million per month since November 2025. The total passenger decline for FY26 was equivalent to approximately 3.6 days of traffic at the airport.
