
MRF’s profitability went up by 31.2% during the March quarter to ₹498 crore, while its revenue grew by 11.7% on a year-on-year basis to ₹6,944 crore.
The tyre manufacturer’s Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) stood at ₹1,043 crore, which is higher than the Bloomberg consensus estimate of ₹874 crore.
EBITDA margin for the quarter expanded by 70 basis points from the same quarter last year to 15% from 14.3%. The number was significantly higher compared to the Bloomberg consensus estimate of 12.5%. Raw material costs remained flat for the quarter, compared to the December period.
MRF has also announced a final dividend of ₹229 per share for financial year 2025. This is in addition to the ₹6 per share it had already paid earlier.
With this, MRF’s total dividend for financial year 2025 stood at ₹235. The company at the end of financial year 2024, had approved a final dividend of ₹194 per share.
Shares of MRF are trading 2.9% higher post the results announcement at ₹1,38,900. The stock is up 26% in the last one month.
