
Sansera Engineering Ltd on Tuesday announced that it has signed a long-term contract with Airbus Defence and Space for the manufacture, supply and support of airborne intensive care transport modules (ICTM) for light and medium transport aircraft programmes.
The deal, valued at approximately ₹160 crore (USD 18.8 million), marks the first time Airbus has selected an Indian supplier for the ICTM kits.
The ICTM is a critical medical evacuation system designed to transport patients, including those requiring intensive care, during emergencies. Under the agreement, Sansera will be responsible for precision machining and structural assembly of the modules.
“This strategic partnership positions us as a trusted supplier to Airbus and marks a major milestone in our aerospace journey,” said S Sekhar Vasan, Chairman and Managing Director of Sansera. He added that the deal strengthens the government’s Make in India initiative and builds India’s capability in critical defence and aerospace manufacturing.

Sansera, which supplies precision components to both automotive and non-automotive sectors, said this contract reinforces its position in the global aerospace supply chain.
At 2:47 PM, shares of Sansera Engineering were trading at ₹1,378.95 on the BSE, up ₹38.85 or 2.90%.
