
“This is to inform you that Pfaudler Normag Systems GmbH, Germany, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, has entered into a contract with a European-based customer for the design, engineering, and supply of complete end-to-end acid recovery equipment and systems. The value of the contract is EUR 33.2 million (approximately ₹330 crore),” according to a stock exchange filing.
The contract has been awarded by a European-based manufacturer of light and medium weapons, ammunition, and tools catering to both defence and civilian sectors.

Under the terms of the four-year contract, Pfaudler Normag will design, engineer, and supply complete end-to-end acid recovery equipment and systems. The company will receive an upfront payment of 30% upon signing the agreement.
GMM Pfaudler stated that the project is expected to make a meaningful revenue contribution over its execution period. Due to confidentiality obligations, the identity of the customer and further details of the contract have not been disclosed.
Fourth Quarter
GMM Pfaudler reported a net loss of ₹27 crore for the January-March quarter against a net profit of ₹27.6 crore in Q4FY24. The loss excludes one-time closure costs amounting to ₹47.7 crore, which included severance pay, inventory write-offs, asset impairments, and other expenses.

The total exceptional costs net of tax stood at ₹43 crore for Q4FY25 and ₹50.4 crore for the full fiscal year. The company’s revenue from operations increased 8.9% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹806.6 crore versus ₹740.7.
At the operating level, EBITDA fell 57.5% to ₹83.3 crore in the fourth quarter of this fiscal over ₹89.8 crore a year ago. The EBITDA margin narrowed by almost 200 basis points to 10.3% compared to 12.1 % in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
Shares of GMM Pfaudler Ltd ended at ₹1,136.30, down by ₹26.55, or 2.28%, on the BSE.
