The MoU was signed at Electronics Niketan, New Delhi, at 2 PM. Officials from both ministries were present at the ceremony, which marks the formal rollout of a platform the government says is designed to be “smart, inclusive, and responsive.”
The initiative builds on the government’s earlier Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) platform, which was launched in 2023 as a unified portal to bring together youth engagement programmes.
The first version focused on volunteerism, civic participation, and skill development. With Version 2.0, the government is expanding the scope — using AI, real-time interactivity, multilingual interfaces, and mobile-first tools to help young people navigate everything from jobs and internships to community service and mentorship.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Digital India said the new version “marks a pivotal moment where technology meets youth empowerment.”

- Gamified learning: Earn points, badges, and rewards for completing skill modules and quizzes

The interface has also been redesigned to work better on smartphones, with faster onboarding and a cleaner dashboard.
