Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar admitted to AIIMS, PM Modi, Nadda visit him

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on Sunday. He complained of uneasiness and chest pain, reports said.

The former governor of West Bengal was taken to the hospital around 2 am. He was admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) under Dr Rajiv Narang, Head of Department of Cardiology at AIIMS, reports said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited AIIMS to enquire about Dhankar’s health. “Went to AIIMS and enquired about the health of Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar Ji. I pray for his good health and speedy recovery,” Modi posted on X.

Union Health Minister JP Nadda visited AIIMS to enquire about Dhankhar’s condition.
