CNBC-TV18 had first reported in January that Swiggy was working on a new consumer platform designed to simplify access to professionals in sectors such as wellness, finance, education, events, and more. With today’s launch, the app is now live in Bengaluru under the name Pyng Now, available for download on both iOS and Android.
Pyng offers users a personalised environment to find and interact with a wide network of professionals, including yoga instructors, therapists, tax planners, astrologers, trip advisors, and more. The platform promises real-time AI assistance to help users identify the right experts for their needs, with an added layer of personalised interaction via professionals’ own AI-powered chat assistants.
The app offers a money-back guarantee if users are not satisfied with the service. Pyng has, so far, onboarded over 1,000 professionals and aims to bring more than 10,000 verified experts onboard across India.
Key categories on the platform include:
– Health & Wellness: Fitness trainers, yoga instructors, therapists
– Finance: Tax planners, investment consultants, wealth managers
– Lifestyle & Travel: Makeup artists, travel advisors, trip planners
– Education: Tutors in music, dance, art, and career coaching
– Events & Entertainment: Wedding planners, DJs, emcees
– Spiritual Services: Astrologers, tarot readers, energy healers
With Pyng, Swiggy continues to expand its convenience-focused ecosystem beyond food delivery and quick commerce, which includes Instamart, Genie, and Swiggy Dineout.
The shares of Swiggy are trading 1.1% in the green at this hour. The stock has fallen close to 38% in 2025 so far.
