The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results of the Civil Services Examination 2024. Shakti Dubey has topped the exam. The Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam 2024 was held on 16 June, with 9.92 lakh candidates applying and 5.83 lakh appearing. Out of them, 14,627 qualified for the Main exam in September, and 2,845 moved on to the Personality Test. This year, 1,129 vacancies will be filled across various services, with most appointments in the IAS and Central Services Group ‘A’. Of these, 605 vacancies are in Group ‘A’ and 142 in Group ‘B’ Services. Candidates’ marks will be uploaded on the UPSC website within 15 days of the result announcement. (Image upsc.gov.in)
