7 / 7The Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam 2024 was held on 16 June, with 9.92 lakh candidates applying and 5.83 lakh appearing. Out of them, 14,627 qualified for the Main exam in September, and 2,845 moved on to the Personality Test. This year, 1,129 vacancies will be filled across various services, with most appointments in the IAS and Central Services Group ‘A’.
