People’s faith in Congress must be honoured
Shivakumar underlined the government’s responsibility towards the electorate stating that people have shown faith in Congress and voted for it. “So we must live up to public expectations,” he said.
He noted that the administration has formulated several public welfare initiatives and will ensure their effective rollout.
His comments followed a statement by Sri Rajadeshikendra Shivacharya Swami of the Rambhapuri Peetha who said that Shivakumar deserved “a higher position” post the 2023 election.
“People of the state are aware of his contribution to the party’s victory,” the seer added, as per News18.
