The list also included Zahidul Islam Khan (Chenga), Ranjeet Boro (Nadua), Achyut Das (Naoboicha), Tapan Gogoi (Sivasagar), Pallav Saikia (Titabor) and Jinna Amir Hussain (East Goalpara), among others.

AAP has decided to contest the elections independently and has not formed an alliance with other opposition parties.

Polls on April 9
Assam will vote in a single phase on April 9 for all 126 assembly seats. The results will be announced on May 4. In Assam, the incumbent BJP-led NDA, which won 75 out of 126 seats in 2021 under Himanta Biswa Sarma, is seeking a third term, while the Congress aims to defeat the ruling party to return to power.
