As the 2025 assembly elections approach, the main contenders include RJD’s Subodh Paswan and BJP’s Nand Kishore Ram. In the 2015 polls, Bhagirathi Devi had also emerged victorious, defeating INC’s Purnmasi Ram by a margin of 17,988 votes.
