
In another decision, a new scheme called the Chief Minister Guru Shishya Parampara Yojana will be launched for which ₹1.11 crore has been approved as annual interest for this scheme.
In the meeting, ₹36.35 crore has been approved for the year 2025–26 under the National Mission on Natural Farming. This scheme promotes farming without chemical fertilisers or pesticides.
Also, the ballot papers for Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 will be printed by Saraswati Press Limited in Kolkata.
It was also decided that public representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions and Gram Kachhari will get medical treatment support from the Chief Minister Medical Assistance Fund.
The Cabinet extended the tenure of Bihar Police officer ASP Ramakant Prasad by a year.
Under the Chief Minister Pratigya Yojana, the internship amount will now be given for up to 12 months instead of three months. It will be sent directly to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
To promote industries, the Cabinet has increased the maximum FAR (Floor Area Ratio) for non-polluting industries from 1.5 to 2.0. The parking area required for flattened factories has been reduced from 30% to 14%.
It was decided to give facilities to retired judges which would include domestic help, driver and telephone facilities. Retired judges to get a reimbursement facility of ₹55,000-₹60,000 and permitted to keep two government employees.
These key decisions come a few months ahead of the Assembly elections scheduled in November this year.
