
The Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 is all set to take place in two phases on November 6 and 11, with results scheduled for November 14. In the first phase, 121 constituencies will go to the polls. The second phase, covering 122 seats, will vote on November 11. Bahubali Anant Singh | Don-turned-politician Anant Kumar Singh submitted his nomination papers as a JD(U) candidate from the Mokama assembly seat. Tejashwi Yadav | According to his election affidavit, Tejashwi Yadav has declared that 18 criminal cases are pending against him, with four of them under appeal, reported The Hindu. Tej Pratap Yadav | Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Yadav’s eldest son, Tej Pratap Yadav, the expelled Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and founder of Janshakti Janata Dal, has filed his nomination papers for the Mahua Assembly seat. His assets include movable properties worth ₹91.65 lakh, immovable properties valued at ₹1.96 crore, 200 grams of gold worth ₹22 lakh, a motorcycle worth ₹6.85 lakh, and a fleet of cars. Amrendra Kumar Pandey | In its first list of 57 candidates, Janata Dal (United) announced Amrendra Kumar Pandey, alias Pappu Pandey, as a candidate from Kuchaikote. According to the affidavits submitted by the candidates prior to the 2020 Assembly elections and bye elections analysed by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and Bihar Election Watch, Pandey declared a total of 11 criminal cases against himself.
