As Bihar elections are just around the corner, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has said that the seat-sharing deal among its allies in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) are almost finalised.
The BJP is likely to finalise the seat-sharing arrangements in the next couple of days, while the first list of candidates is likely to be released by Oct 13, News18 reported citing sources.
The development comes a day after when reports suggested that “all is not well” in the NDA as the parties were not having a consensus on the seat-sharing deal.
BJP’s Central Election Committee (CEC) would be meeting on Oct 12 and the seat-sharing would be decided, as per News18.
The list to be released on Oct 13 would comprise the names of candidates from the BJP, Janata Dal United (JDU), Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) among others.
