Nitin Nabin likely to be elected
BJP national working president Nitin Nabin is likely to be elected unopposed, as there is little indication of any other leader entering the contest, PTI reported citing party sources.
Senior party leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, is believed to be backing his candidature.

If elected, Nabin will succeed JP Nadda, who has held the post since January 2020. Notably, Nadda had also followed a similar trajectory, having first been appointed as the BJP’s national working president in June 2019 before being elected unopposed as party chief, as per PTI.
Political background and experience
Nitin Nabin, 45, hails from Bihar and represents the Bankipur assembly constituency. He has served twice as a minister in the Bihar government.
The son of late BJP veteran and former MLA Nabin Kishore Prasad Sinha, he is regarded within the organisation as a leader with strong ideological grounding.
Nabin has a long-standing association with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and is viewed as deeply committed to organisational work. His elevation, if confirmed, is expected to mark a generational shift in the party’s top leadership structure, as per PTI.
