
The biggest deal involved Bajaj Finserv Ltd. The financial services provider witnessed 2.86 crore shares changing hands at ₹1,925 per piece, representing 1.79% of the company’s total equity in a block deal worth ₹5,506 crore on Friday, June 6.
The second biggest transaction was witnessed in Aptus Value Housing Finance stocks this week. In a large trade, around 6.7 crore shares of the company
changed hands at ₹307 per piece on June 3. The transaction, representing 13.44% of the company’s total equity, was worth ₹2,063 crore.
On Tuesday, private lender Yes Bank also saw multiple block deals involving 9.4 crore shares, representing 3% of its total equity. The transaction value stood at ₹2,022 crore with an average price of ₹21.5 per share. According to sources, a PE investor is likely a seller in Yes Bank’s block deals.
The Indegene block deal
, on June 4, saw as many as 2.53 crore shares, or 10.56% equity. The transaction was worth ₹1,504 crore at ₹594 per share.
ZF Commercial Vehicle Control System India Ltd. witnessed a block deal worth ₹792 crore, with six lakh shares accounting for 3.17% of its equity, changing hands. The trade took place on Friday at an average price of ₹13,191 per share.
As many as 14.22 crore shares, representing 3.23% equity of Ola Electric Mobility changed hands on June 3 in a block deal worth ₹731 crore at ₹51.4 apiece. Hyundai Motor Company was the likely seller in the transaction.
The Azad Engineering block deal on witnessed the exchange of 48 lakh shares worth ₹730 crore, representing 7% of the total equity of the Hyderabad-based company. The average price for the transaction was ₹1,640 per share.
Niva Bupa Health Insurance witnessed a large trade involving a transaction of 4.95 crore shares, representing 2.7% of the company’s total equity. The total transaction, on Monday, amounted to ₹391.3 crore at a share price of ₹83 apiece.
Other major large trades this week included block deals in the shares of Zinka Logistics (₹692 crore), Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail (₹617 crore), Tata Technologies(₹634 crore) and Indian Energy Exchange (₹202 crore) on Tuesday.
