CBSE Board Exams 2025: Delhi Metro to prioritise students in frisking, ticketing; check date sheet here

As lakhs of students gear up for the CBSE Board Examinations 2025, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has introduced special measures to ensure hassle-free commuting for candidates. The board exams for Classes 10 and 12 are scheduled from February 15 to April 4, 2025.

In collaboration with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), DMRC on Friday, February 14, rolled out initiatives to streamline security checks and ticketing at metro stations during this crucial period.

In an X post, DMRC said, “With the CBSE Board Examinations 2025 for Classes X and XII scheduled from February 15 to April 4, 2025, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has introduced a series of measures to ensure smooth and hassle-free travel for students appearing for the exams.”
“As approximately 3.30 lakh students and thousands of school staff will be commuting across the city, DMRC in partnership with CISF is implementing special facilitation measures at metro stations to accommodate the increased footfall on examination days,” the statement added.

Key Measures Implemented by DMRC

• Students carrying their CBSE Admit Cards will be given priority during security checks at metro stations.

• Students showing their Admit Cards will also be prioritized while purchasing tickets at Ticket Office Machines (TOM) and Customer Care (CC) centers.

• DMRC staff visited schools, interacted with principals, and informed them about the nearest metro stations and the support available for students.

• DMRC has requested schools to display posters providing details of the nearest metro station along with a QR code for easy ticket booking to assist students in planning their travel.

• Special centralized announcements will be made at metro stations.

• A detailed list of metro stations closest to examination centers has also been uploaded on the DMRC website and official mobile application for easy reference.

CBSE has released the CBSE Board Exam Date Sheet 2025 on its official website, cbse.gov.in. Students appearing for the 2025 board exams can visit the website to check the complete schedule, including exam dates and timings for Class 10 and Class 12.

Students can follow these steps to download the CBSE exam schedule:

• Visit the official CBSE website: cbse.gov.in
• Navigate to the “Examinations” or “Latest Announcements” section.
• Click on the link titled “Date Sheet for Class X and XII Board Examinations.”
• Select Class 10 or Class 12 as required.
• The exam date sheet will open as a PDF file. Click the download button to save it for future reference.
• Verify subject-wise exam dates, timings, and important instructions mentioned in the schedule.
• Print a copy of the date sheet for easy access.

DMRC has urged students to plan their travel in advance and take full advantage of the measures introduced to support them during the board exams. The metro authority has also extended its best wishes to all candidates appearing for the exams.
