In a statement, CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said the board has noticed that some individuals engaged in the evaluation process are posting comments, opinions and personal experiences related to the assessment on social media platforms.
According to the board, several of these posts are misleading or factually incorrect and have the potential to create confusion and spread rumours among students, parents and other stakeholders.
Bhardwaj emphasised that the evaluation process for board examinations is strictly confidential and governed by established protocols. He warned that sharing information, opinions or experiences related to the assessment process on public platforms is strictly prohibited.
“Any attempt to spread rumours or misrepresent facts on social media is a violation of professional conduct and may invite disciplinary action,” he said.
The board has advised teachers and evaluators to exercise restraint while discussing matters related to the evaluation process and to uphold the integrity of the examination system.
CBSE said it expects all evaluators to maintain confidentiality, professionalism and dignity while carrying out their duties during the assessment of the board examinations.
