“Prashant ji is playing an honest role in Bihar politics, which I appreciate,” he said.
Paswan said he welcomes everyone who wants to work for the progress of Bihar and the people of the state, rising above religion, caste and creed issues.
When asked about Kishor “hijacking” his ‘Bihar first, Bihari first’ plank, Paswan said no one can hijack others’ agenda.
He said it is the beauty of democracy that people have so much option to chose from. “In democracy, it’s better to have many options,” he added.
On July 23, Paswan attacked Congress and other opposition parties for doing “politics” and setting “false narrative” on the Election Commission decision to conduct revision of electoral roll in Bihar. He asserted that the government is ready to hold discussions on any issues, including the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar and Operation Sindoor, in Parliament.
He added talks for seat sharing have not started with BJP, JD (U) and other ally parties in Bihar.
The polls are scheduled in the state in November this year.
