PM Modi attacks TMC, vows change in BengalÂ
The Prime Minister also attacked different political parties such as Congress, the Communists, and the TMC stating “that they kept coming one after another, filling their own pockets while development in Bengal remained stalled.”
He said that in terms of infrastructure, Bengal kept falling behind. Industries shut down and businesses collapsed. “Under the TMC government, jobs are being openly sold. Now the time has come to change this situation and ensure that the youth of Bengal get opportunities and employment in Bengal itself.”
He also criticised the TMC government of ‘insulting’ President Droupadi Murmu during her visit to West Bengal. “A few days ago, the President, daughter of the tribal community, Droupadi Murmu, came to Bengal. She was to participate in the sacred festival of the Santhal tribal tradition, but this ruthless government, steeped in arrogance, not only boycotted that programme but also handed it over to hooliganism,” he said.
