In a statement, DMRC said that with lakhs of students travelling across the national capital during the examination period, arrangements have been put in place to ensure smooth and hassle-free movement through metro stations.
The corporation said it is coordinating with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) to manage the increased footfall on examination days.
As part of the measures, students carrying their CBSE admit cards will be given priority during security checks at metro stations. They will also be prioritised while purchasing tickets at Ticket Office Machines (TOM) and Customer Care (CC) centres across the metro network.
Additionally, special centralised announcements will be made at metro stations to assist students during the examination period. The CBSE Board Examinations for Classes X and XII commenced on February 17 and will conclude on April 10, 2026.
