
The Delhi Fire Services (DFS) said that emergency alerts were received from several educational institutions in different parts of the city during the morning hours, as per news agency PTI.
Fire tenders and bomb disposal teams were immediately dispatched to the affected locations.
“A total of 10 schools received bomb threats today. Fire service teams immediately reached the premises. Checking is underway,” a DFS official said, as per PTI.
As a safety measure, school authorities evacuated campuses while bomb detection and disposal squads, supported by sniffer dog units, began systematic searches of the premises.
Emails cite extremist claims, police launch probe
The threatening emails were sent between 8:30 am and 9:00 am and allegedly contained extremist references. The sender claimed affiliation with a group calling itself the Khalistan National Army and warned of explosions at schools and other locations, as per a report by News18 Hindi.

Several prominent schools were among those that received the threats, including institutions in Delhi Cantonment, Rohini, Sadiq Nagar, INA and the NFC area.
Following the alerts, teams from the Delhi Police, fire department and bomb squad reached the sites and initiated detailed inspections. Students were moved to safe areas as a precaution.
Authorities stated that no suspicious objects had been found at any of the schools at the time of reporting, but search operations were continuing as part of standard safety protocol. Investigators have sought assistance from cyber experts to trace the origin of the emails, as per News18 Hindi.
