
The project, to be executed in a joint venture with RBL (DBL-RBL JV), involves designing and constructing the Ged barrage along with protection and allied works across the Sabarmati River in Sabarkantha district.
The contract will be executed under the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode, with a completion timeline of 24 months, the company said in an exchange filing.
The scope of the project also includes operation and maintenance for a period of 10 years, adding to the long-term revenue visibility for the company.
Dilip Buildcon clarified that the order has been awarded by a domestic government entity and does not fall under related party transactions.
The project is expected to strengthen the company’s order book and further enhance its presence in the water infrastructure segment.
In March, the company received an order worth ₹698.49 crore from the Gujarat government for the construction of the flood protection embankment on the Narmada River in Bharuch district.
The EPC contract, also received from the Gujarat government’s Narmada Water Resources Water Supply & Kalpasar Department, is to be completed in 24 months.
Shares of Dilip Buildcon were trading 1.28% up at ₹431.70 as of 12.55 pm. The stock has declined about 16.5% over the last six months.
