Elvish Yadav, who is currently winning hearts on Laughter Chefs 3, has been making headlines as the Supreme Court on Thursday quashed an FIR and subsequent proceedings against him. The case was under the Wildlife (Protection) Act in the snake venom case registered by Uttar Pradesh Police in 2023. He has now reacted to it on social media.Elvish took to his Instagram handle and expressed his happiness after the Supreme Court quashed the FIR. He further shared how he faced harassment and mental torture for more than two years as a false case was registered against him.Elvish said, “Hello everyone, today is a very happy day. First of all, my heartfelt wishes to all of you on Gudi Padwa, happy Navratri, and best wishes for Navratri. And today is also Independence Day for your brother, because I am very happy to say that the Supreme Court has dismissed my snake case. I always had faith in our judiciary system, in our justice system, that justice will be served, and today it has been served. Whoever has done wrong will get punished, and whoever has done nothing will be saved.”He further said, “Many thanks to the Supreme Court and our judiciary that our case, our FIR, has been finished, it has been quashed. And today, I can’t even express how happy I am. Just understand that exactly two years ago, on 17 March 2024, when I was arrested in this false case that was put on me, since that day I kept saying that I did nothing, I did nothing.”Recalling the tough time that he has faced, he shared, “In November 2023, when the case was registered against me, from that time I kept saying that I did nothing, but the media kept running so many news reports saying that I did this, I did that. I faced so much harassment for two and a half years. There was a stain on my name and on my family’s name. My family was harassed so much, and what we went through, I pray that none of you ever have to face that. But today, truth has won. Today, truth has won. Today we have won. Today is a very big day for me.”Elvish also said, “Everything is fine now, the case happened, we fought it, we won, everything is settled. But I just have one small question for all of you — the two and a half years of harassment that I and my family faced, my family cried on national television, we suffered so much for something I never did… who will make up for that? Will anyone come and say sorry? The media that ran so many false stories, that created so much chaos, will anyone apologize to me? What is the compensation for that time that we lost?”He then said, “I don’t even want anyone’s apology, but the time we went through… how will that ever be repaid? I don’t know who to ask this question to. But still, I am very happy today, and I want to stay happy. May God never bring such a difficult time in anyone’s life. It came in mine, but our comeback has been strong, because I have very good people with me.”
