
While Data Patterns, DCX Systems and Solar Industries will be reacting to their quarterly results reported just before closing and after closing on Thursday, HAL and Garden Reach will be reporting their results during the course of the day.
DCX Systems
DCX Systems reported a 61% growth in its topline during the June quarter, in comparison to the same quarter last year, while its net profit grew by 38%.
However, its EBIT margin saw a 200 basis points hit due to R&D losses of nearly ₹11 crore by one of its wholly-owned subsidiary. EBIT margin narrowed to 4.87% from 6.84% last year.
At the end of the June quarter, DCX Systems’ consolidated order book stood at ₹2,697 crore.
The stock has declined 8% in the last one month.
Data Patterns
Data Pattern’s revenue declined 5% from the year-ago quarter, in comparison to analyst estimates, that were projecting a growth of as much as 22%.
The management attributed the decline in topline to delay in customer approvals, which is expected to normalise in the upcoming quarters.
Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter fell 14% from last year, while margins narrowed 340 basis points to 32.33% from 35.73% last year.
The management though, expressed confidence of meeting its full-year targets, as its order book grew 11.5% from last year to ₹814 crore.
Shares of Data Patterns have declined 14% in the last one month.
Solar Industries
Solar Industries’ results came just before the close of trading on Thursday. Revenue increased by 28% from last year, EBITDA grew 19%, while margins narrowed by nearly 200 basis points to 24.83% from 26.67% last year.
The management said that the outlook for its defence business remains positive and that it retains its full-year guidance for the same.
Order book at the end of the quarter stood at ₹16,800 crore.
Shares of Solar Industries have declined nearly 10% in the last one month.
Shares of HAL and Garden Reach, which are supposed to report results today, have also declined 9% and 10% respectively over the last one month.
