
Its net profit declined 23.3% to ₹51.3 crore in the fourth quarter compared to ₹70.6 crore in the same period of the previous year.
The company’s revenue declined 24% in the March quarter to ₹459.8 crore. It reported a revenue of ₹604.3 crore in the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal.
HBL Engineering’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) came in at ₹78 crore in the January-March period. This was down 40.7% from the ₹131.4 crore it reported in the same period in the previous fiscal.
The company’s margin contracted to 16.94% in the fourth quarter from 21.74% in the year-ago period.
Shares of HBL Engineering Ltd ended 0.97% higher at ₹574.8 apiece on Friday, May 23. The stock has gained 11% in the past month.
