
In a press release filed with the exchanges, the IT services company said it will leverage Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise and Gemini models to develop custom AI agents for global clients, while strengthening collaboration and security through Google Workspace.
The partnership aims to support enterprises in scaling AI adoption by embedding artificial intelligence into systems, workflows and decision-making processes to improve operational efficiency and enable new capabilities.

Google Cloud’s President for Global Ecosystem and Channels, Kevin Ichhpurani, said, “With over 23,000 Google Cloud-trained experts and deep AI implementation expertise, HCLTech is delivering high-impact, production-ready AI agents to enterprises today,” he said.
Vijay Guntur, Chief Technology Officer and Head of Ecosystems at HCLTech, said the collaboration strengthens the company’s partnership with Google Cloud and aims to help enterprises scale AI adoption in line with their business goals.
HCLTech said many of the AI agents it has developed are already available on the Google Cloud Marketplace.
Ichhpurani added that HCLTech is helping bring Gemini Enterprise capabilities to more customers through industry-specific solutions.

As part of the expanded collaboration, the two companies will focus on building AI-driven solutions using HCLTech’s AI Force platform integrated with Google’s Gemini models, launching industry-specific Agentic AI offerings and expanding dedicated innovation hubs.
The company will also expand its Google Cloud-certified workforce from around 12,000 professionals to more than 35,000 over the next three years to support growing demand for AI-led enterprise transformation.
Shares of the company were trading 0.47% up at ₹1,356.70 as of 3.09 pm. The stock has fallen over 8% in the last month.
