
“…it is to inform that Kerala State IT Infrastructure Ltd. (KSITIL) has sanctioned a Work Order to Ircon International Limited for Construction of Dedicated Rural Industrial Park in Thiruvananthapuram District,” IRCON International said in a regulatory filing.
The project is structured as a works contract on an item-rate basis and is to be completed within a period of 30 months. The scope of work includes infrastructure development and civil works for setting up the industrial park, aimed at promoting rural industrialisation in the region.

Last week, IRCON International received a letter of acceptance from North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) for a ₹458.14-crore civil works contract related to the Tato-I Hydro Electric project in Arunachal Pradesh.
The contract, awarded under package I, involves the construction of civil works on an item rate basis. It covers a comprehensive scope, including headworks and allied works, head race channel, head race pipe, intake, headrace tunnel, surge shaft, pressure shaft, valve house, powerhouse, and associated infrastructure works. The project is to be executed over a period of 45 months.
Shares of Ircon International Ltd ended at ₹158.65, up by ₹5.65, or 3.69%, on the BSE.
