She adds, “What a day it was for the team of Vash! Apart from my win, the film won the National Award for the Best Gujarati Film. It is unbelievable; I hadn’t thought even in my wildest dreams that this could happen! The entire team of Vash got together and we celebrated the win. It is a huge moment, and this will remain the most special day for all of us.”
‘Will be forever grateful to
Janki adds, “My family is overjoyed. My father was very confident that I would win a National Award for Vash, but I didn’t believe it then. My family members are in a festive mood (laughs)!” Expressing her gratitude to Krishnadev Yagnik, the film’s director, she says, “I remain indebted to Krishnadev Yagnik, who is like a blessing in my life. I am also grateful to Abhishek (filmmaker), who cast me in Chhello Divas. I called him after the win and thanked him for giving me that break. Without Chhello Divas, Vash wouldn’t have happened, and I wouldn’t be here.”
