
The inter-state transmission system (ISTS)-connected project will span across Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh and is expected to be commissioned within the next 24 months. The tariff has been fixed at ₹3.49/kWh.
With this deal, JSW Energy’s total locked-in generation portfolio stands at 29.9 GW, including 12.5 GW of operational capacity and 12.8 GW under construction. The company also has 29.3 GWh of energy storage capacity, comprising hydro pumped storage and battery systems.
JSW Energy has set a target to achieve 30 GW generation capacity and 40 GWh storage capacity by FY30, and carbon neutrality by 2050.

The agreement adds to the company’s aggressive push in India’s renewables sector, aligning with its long-term energy transition strategy.
