Ravikrishnan, 29, had attended the rally on September 27 hoping to catch a glimpse of Vijay, unaware it would be the final day of his life.
His family and relatives are now mourning his untimely death.
“After finishing his engineering course, he started building his home. Just when he was getting on to his own, the disaster happened. No one expected something like this. Everyone is sad,” a relative of Ravikrishnan told news agency PTI, adding that he had always been a good student and was known for helping others whenever needed.

The relative further stated that Ravikrishnan was the sole breadwinner of the family and appealed for government support.
“He was active socially. He went to see Vijay as someone interested in the movies. He was the only child. His father too passed away recently. There’s no one to support his mother and sister now. We request a government job for the sister so that the family can support itself,” he said.
Another relative described the news as unbelievable and said Ravikrishnan would be hard to forget.
“It hurts to think about it. I can’t forget his smiling face. Just when he was about to take a step forward in life, just when the marriage came along, the tragedy hit. He was a very agreeable person. Never antagonised anyone, never wished ill for anyone,” the relative said.
