
The company has been awarded the project by various clients under the captive power producer (CPP) business segment of the firm, including projects under distributed renewable energy bilateral purchase (DREBP) policy under the Gujarat Renewable Energy Policy-2023 and GERC tariff order.
These projects are slated to be completed in the financial year 2026.
KPI Green Energy reported a 130% increase in its fourth quarter net profit ₹99.4 crore compared to the previous fiscal. Its revenue increased 97% to ₹569.4 crore from the year-ago period.
Its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 77% on a year-on-year basis. However, KPI Green Energy’s margin narrowed by over 300 basis points to 28.3% from 31.5% in the year-ago period.
In its investor presentation, KPI Green Energy spoke about the MoUs it has signed with the state governments of Odisha, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, to establish renewable energy parks, hybrid solar and wind power projects, and renewable energy projects respectively.
KPI Green Energy said it intended to focus on focus on large scale projects and strategic acquisition of land within the vicinity of the PE sub-station. It is also aiming for geographical diversification, and expand its MSME clientele.
BESS Solutions investment, offshore wind power, green hydrogen and floating solar are some of the key sectors highlighted by KPI Green for its future growth in its investor presentation.
KPI Green Energy shares were down 2.8% at ₹467.15 apiece at 1.50 pm on Thursday, June 19. The stock has declined 15.4% this year, so far.
