The education department on Tuesday issued a circular directing all govt schools — aided, partially aided, and local body-run institutions — across Maharashtra to mandatorily record students’ attendance using smart attendance bot on Swift Chat application from Oct 1. Headmasters and teachers must log in using their Shalarth IDs and UDISE codes.
