“No leader of any country asked India to stop the operation,” PM Modi said.
However, PM Modi mentioned about his conversation with US VP JD Vance on May 9, who told him that Pakistan is planning a huge military retaliation against India. “I made clear that if Pakistan attacks, India will retaliate with stronger military measures,” he said.
“No country in the world has stopped India from any action in its defence against terror,” PM Modi added.
The Parliament witnessed an uproar by the Opposition members as they raised demands for a clear statement on Trump’s claims and the loss suffered by Indian military aircraft.
PM Modi further said that Pakistan realised that India would conduct a huge operation after Pahalgam attack. “India conducted the operation as planned but Pakistan could not do anything,” he said.
He added that India reached inside Pakistan’s territory which was never imagined before. “Indian army destroyed the terror sites of Pakistan,” he said, adding that India proved that Pakistan’s nuclear threats were a lie.
“India displayed its technological capabilities during the conflict. We destroyed Pakistan’s multiple airbases and they are still under ICU,” Modi stated, highlighting the use of ‘Made in India’ weapons.
“Whole world realised the power of India and its self-reliance as it destroyed the drones and missiles of Pakistan,” the Prime Minister said. The whole world witnessed the range of India’s military capabilities.
The Prime Minister also highlighted that he had given a clear message to the whole world so that they can understand India’s resolution against terrorism, terrorists and their supporters, while thanking the citizens for the support. “I express my gratitude to the people of India for support during Operation Sindoor,” PM Modi said.
PM Modi further outlined three resolutions taken by the government to be taken in the future. “India will respond on its terms and time against the future terror attacks and activities. No nuclear blackmail will be tolerated. We do not differentiate between masterminds of terror and state actors,” PM Modi said.

India conducted precision strikes on the terror base camps and sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in the early hours of May 7 under Operation Sindoor to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack of April 26 where at least 26 people were gunned down by the terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistan responded to India’s strikes by using drones and missiles. The conflict escalated and continued till May 10, when the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of Pakistan initiated a discussion for ceasefire with his Indian counterpart.
A ceasefire ‘understanding’ was reached to stop the firings across the Line of Control (LoC) and halt all military actions across the International Border between India and Pakistan.
