
Second Unit Completely Operational
The company shared this update in an exchange filing on Sunday, June 29. This marks the complete commercial operation of Unit II of the solar park in Madhya Pradesh.
This comes after the state-owned renewable energy company, which is also a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Ltd
, announced the completion of the 105 MW Shajapur Solar Project (Unit-I) earlier this year in March. This takes the total capacity to 325 MW.
This new addition is a part of the development of 450 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar photovoltaic projects in the Shajapur district of Madhya Pradesh.
This project, which is said to be executed in three units, has achieved completion for Unit I and Unit II. The third Unit will have the capacity of 125 MW.
