The Prime Minister will speak at Katwa in Purba Bardhaman district, Jangipur in Murshidabad, and Kushmandi in Dakshin Dinajpur, targeting key regions where the party is looking to expand its footprint.
These rallies are part of the BJP’s strategy to strengthen its presence in central and northern parts of the state, areas seen as crucial to mounting a stronger challenge against the ruling All India Trinamool Congress.
This marks Modi’s third visit to the state since the poll schedule was announced by the Election Commission in mid-March, highlighting the strategic importance of West Bengal in the party’s broader electoral roadmap.
Earlier this week, Modi addressed rallies in Haldia, Asansol, and Suri, where he sharpened his attack on the state government by raising concerns around industrial slowdown and alleged infiltration.
During those events, he also outlined a “six-point guarantee” for voters, positioning it as an alternative to the policies of the Mamata Banerjee-led government.
The Prime Minister had kicked off his campaign on April 5 from Cooch Behar, focusing on law and order issues and criticising the state administration over recent developments linked to the Special Intensive Revision exercise.
The BJP has been attempting to steer the election narrative towards themes such as governance, corruption, women’s safety, and employment, while also highlighting concerns around industrial growth in the state.
