
The meeting will take place at the Sushma Swaraj Bhawan around 4.30 pm today.
This will be a marathon session, expected to last several hours, and will involve the participation of Cabinet ministers, Ministers of State, and senior bureaucrats, including the Cabinet Secretary, department secretaries, and top officials from the Prime Minister’s Office, as reported by News18.
Operation Sindoor, national security in focusÂ
A key highlight of the meeting will be a comprehensive review of Operation Sindoor, which was launched in the early hours of May 7, in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack of April 22 in Jammu and Kashmir that left 26 civilians dead.

The ministers will be briefed in detail on the objectives and outcomes of Operation Sindoor, as per India Today. Discussions are also expected to cover India’s diplomatic stance and response to Pakistan in the wake of the incident.
Review of 11 years of the Modi govtÂ
The session coincides with the Modi government completing 11 years in office and the first anniversary of its third term.
As per India Today, PM Modi has directed all the ministers to compile reports of their achievements, which will be consolidated by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting into a government’s performance booklet.
The Prime Minister has reportedly asked for a comparative analysis and differences in governance between the UPA and NDA regimes over the last 11 years.
The Jal Shakti Ministry is also expected to present the current status of the Jal Jeevan Mission during the meeting, as per News18.

In previous Cabinet session, PM Modi had mentioned the importance of meaningful public engagement key events going to be commemorated in June, such as the World Environment Day (June 5), first anniversary of the Modi 3.0 government (June 9), International Yoga day (June 21) and 50th anniversary of the Emergency (June 25).
