The agreement was signed at the National Museum of Qatar by Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums, and Isha Ambani, Director, Reliance Industries Limited. The collaboration will introduce QM’s innovative learning models into Indian schools and cultural learning spaces through NMACC, while also enabling the creation of new joint programmes.
Under the partnership, NMACC will work with Reliance Foundation to roll out programmes across multiple regions in India, including rural and underserved areas. Specialists from Qatar Museums, including experts from Dadu, Children’s Museum of Qatar, will lead masterclasses and provide hands-on mentoring for teachers, volunteers, and facilitators.
The initiatives will focus on early childhood education while equipping educators with new tools, materials, and play-based methodologies designed to foster creativity, empathy, and discovery. Programmes will be implemented across schools, anganwadis, and community centres.
As part of the collaboration, Dadu’s museum-in-residence programme will bring its Light Atelier, an immersive, hands-on learning environment for children aged 3-7, to India, extending Dadu’s learning-through-play philosophy beyond Qatar.
The partnership builds on Qatar Museums’ broader commitment to global cultural exchange aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030, and is another step in NMACC’s mission to bring global best practices to India while sharing Indian culture with the world.
