
RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has announced a major order win worth ₹90.08 crore from the Institute of Road Transport. The contract involves the design, development, supply, implementation, operations, and maintenance of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for three transport corporations: MTC Ltd, Chennai, TNSTC-Coimbatore, and TNSTC-Madurai.
The project, awarded by a domestic entity, is expected to be completed by October 18, 2026. RailTel also clarified that there is no connection between its promoters and the awarding entity, and the transaction does not qualify as a related party deal.
The shares of RailTel ended close to 5% lower on Friday (April 26). The stock has fallen 25.69% in 2025 so far.
Earlier in March, the railway PSU received a ₹25.15 crore order from another state-run company, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL)
