COIMBATORE: Southern Railway has announced special trains between Coimbatore and Dhanbad to cater to the extra rush of passengers during the forthcoming festive season. In a press release, the Salem railway division said that No. 06063 Coimbatore -Dhanbad weekly special train would leave Coimbatore at 11.50am on Fridays from Sept 5 to Nov 28 to reach Dhanbad at 8.30am on Sundays. No. 06064 Dhanbad – Coimbatore weekly special train will leave Dhanbad at 6am on Mondays from Sept 8 to Dec 1 to reach Coimbatore at 3.45am on Wednesdays. The trains will stop at Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpet, Katpadi, Perambur, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole and Vijayawada.
