
The contract involves the appointment of RITES as the Third Party Inspection (TPI) agency for water supply systems (WSS), underground drainage (UGD), and sewage treatment plant (STP) projects under the AMRUT 2.0 and SJMMSVY schemes in urban local bodies (ULBs) across Gujarat.
The contract is to be executed over a period of 60 months.

RITES reported a 3.4% increase in its net profit for the fourth quarter at ₹141 crore from the previous year. Its revenue declined 4.3% from the previous fiscal to ₹615 crore.
Its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 5.4% to ₹185.5 crore from the previous year, and its margin expanded by 564 basis points to 30%.
It also declared a final dividend of ₹2.65 per share for the financial year 2025, subject to shareholder approval at its upcoming annual general meeting. The record date for the said dividend is yet to be announced.

Shares of RITES Ltd ended at ₹275.85, up by ₹0.50, or 0.18%, on the BSE.
